People are uncomfortable with change. The primary reason for this discomfort is that it forces an adjustment to the modifications of the new environment. It particularly irritates the lethargic types who also have to adapt to new ways of thinking. Thinking, especially sound sober deliberation, can be exhausting. Change will also harm special interest groups and endangers established forms of production and consumption. The way things are now is preferred.
Earlier in this series of articles I wrote a little bit about Social Security. But, it kept haunting me that there is much more that needs to be revealed about this unbelievable con game. And so, I offer just a few additional facts about it and my observations of human financial behavior because of it.
